About this Opportunity Ericsson is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Solution Line (SL) BOS for Germany in Customer Unit North Europe (NEU) to lead presales and delivery engagements. In this role, you will be the primary partner for the CU teams (Account - CU CSS DSM & HoSD) overseeing all BSS/OSS and MSIT/ADM solutioning and delivery activities. You will ensure excellence in presales & delivery, adherence to best practices, quality mandates, profitability targets, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with CU CSS DSM and HoSD, SL BOS Regional teams, and CSS SL BOS Operations, acting as the single point of contact for the SL BOS in CU NEU customers - Germany. You will orchestrate the sales support, solutioning, fulfilment and delivery of all projects in line with the delivery model, scale, and skills within Delivery Excellence and Service Delivery Units (SDU), ensuring full adherence to Ericsson's processes, tools, and methods. This position reports to the Head of SL BOS for CU North Europe and is part of the EMEA SL BOS CU North Europe leadership team. The role is open in CU North, with final location determined within the CU responsibility and EMEA. What you will do: Lead Program Directors, Project Managers, Lead Solution Architects, System Integrators, Software Developers, and ADM/Operations Engineers focused on presales and delivery engagements for Germany. Serve as the single point of contact/escalation for all BOS presales and delivery matters for the customers under responsibility. Ensure full accountability for solutioning quality and delivery excellence across BOS opportunities, programs, and projects. Align with relevant Domain Sales Managers on overall pre-sales activities, ensuring an e2e consistent view from solution design to delivery. Drive proactive farming and installed base monetization, defining value propositions and maximizing customer lifetime value. Oversee presales and project governance, ensuring adherence to tools, processes, methods, and quality mandates, including: delivery model compliance, asset usage optimization, FAS & PCODE reporting, change control, L0-L3 governance, cost of poor-quality tracking, project delays/issues, lessons learned, and knowledge reuse. Drive on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery, ensuring scope, cost, quality, and automation objectives are met. Manage financial and resource planning, including quarterly/yearly forecasts, demand/fulfilment alignment, and financial landing in coordination with CU CSS. Review and approve solution artifacts during presales to ensure compliance with solutioning guidelines, cost benchmarks, and delivery model standards. Monitor market dynamics, competitor positioning, and customer needs to influence solution roadmaps and portfolio relevance. Ensure Live Node Activity (LNA) adherence, quality mandates, closure of project CSRs, and timely delivery of CPEs with accountability for customer satisfaction. Collaborate with delivery excellence teams and BOS solution areas to resolve technical issues, enhance solutioning quality, and support large-scale program delivery. Champion compliance and the application of Detailed Application Guidelines (DAG). Set individual performance and development goals for team members; monitor progress and implement performance and competence improvement plans as needed. Serve as Cost Centre Owner, accountable for utilization, billability, and over-absorption targets. Foster a knowledge-sharing culture, build reusable delivery assets, and drive innovation. Promote a “one team” culture across presales, solutioning, delivery planning, and strategic initiatives. Act as a role model for Ericsson's values and leadership principles, demonstrating integrity, collaboration, and excellence. You will bring: 10+ years of experience in telecom project management, presales, systems integration, and delivery leadership. University degree in Engineering/ICT; MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Proven experience leading senior teams across matrixed, multicultural environments, including Program Directors, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Delivery Managers. Strong track record in BOS portfolio presales, delivery, and managing multiple large-scale programs/projects. Hands-on Program Director experience with successful transformation deliveries. Deep knowledge of SDLC methodologies, Agile practices, and governance streams. Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills; fluent in English. Strong business acumen, financial understanding, forecast management and P&L management skills Broad technical and business understanding in the BOS domain. Strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and consultative customer engagement skills.
