Group Legal Head of Business You will be accountable for the legal team that will partner with business and provide legal advice and support for (international and corporate) contract negotiations. You will be a strategic partner to the business on all relevant legal matters on group level affecting the business, including strategic projects and product specialization. You will enable business to take risk based decisions in the best interest of DLL. Find out more here [https://youtu.be/gBE3ATequxM] about how you can unleash your full potential at DLL Day to day: * Lead and oversee the global legal strategy for M&A, joint ventures, divestitures, and other transformational transactions, ensuring rigorous due diligence, sophisticated risk assessment, and seamless integration of legal, financial, regulatory, and commercial considerations across markets. * Direct cross‑functional deal teams composed of legal, finance, risk, tax, compliance, and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on transaction structure, negotiation strategy, approval pathways, and execution, while advising executive leadership on strategic fit and long‑term value creation. * Set the global legal direction for procurement, sourcing, and third‑party risk management, ensuring frameworks, templates, and negotiation standards support sound commercial decisions and protect DLL’s strategic and operational interests. * Guide subordinate managers and their teams in navigating complex, high‑value supplier engagements—including technology and data‑driven services, outsourcing arrangements, and other critical vendor relationships—ensuring compliance with regulatory, cybersecurity, and data‑handling requirements. * Develop and embed group‑wide standards for supplier governance, negotiation protocols, and escalation pathways, and provide senior‑level oversight during strategic supplier negotiations to achieve balanced, resilient, and commercially effective outcomes. * Provide senior leadership on global data protection and privacy strategy, coordinating across Group Legal pillars and cross‑functional business areas to ensure consistent, business‑enabling practices aligned with regulatory expectations and DLL’s digital transformation agenda. * Steer the legal contribution to enterprise‑level strategic business initiatives, using analytical insight and broad functional knowledge to shape solutions that are customer‑centric, commercially balanced, and aligned with DLL’s strategic objectives. * Lead, develop, and empower a diverse, multi‑disciplinary team of managers and legal professionals, ensuring effective stewardship of people, budget, operational planning, and global resource allocation within the function. * Influence, guide, and negotiate with senior internal and external stakeholders—including executives, regulators, counterparties, and external counsel—leveraging authoritative legal and commercial expertise to shape high‑impact strategic decisions. * Act as a senior representative of the Business legal function within DLL, ensuring strong governance, cross‑functional alignment, and effective collaboration across regions and stakeholder groups. * Communicate legal concepts and advice clearly and effectively to non‑legal stakeholders, including senior management and operational teams. * Foster strong collaboration across the Legal network by promoting shared responsibility, collective ownership and alignment in how we deliver.
