Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Continuity Lead to join our organization and ensure our ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptions.  The Business Continuity Lead will be part of the APAC Regional Business Continuity and Resilience team and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity and resilience programs in the region. The role will work closely with country Business Continuity leads and stakeholders to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure comprehensive plans are in place, tested, and updated regularly. Key Responsibilities: * Business Continuity Planning * develop, implement, and manage the region’s business continuity strategy, * coordinate the maintenance of business continuity and incident management plans, and * review business impact analyses (BIAs) for assigned countries. * Risk Mitigation and Recovery Strategies * work with country Business Continuity leads to identify potential threats and assess the impact on operations, and * collaborate with the countries to establish recovery strategies and recovery plans that are fit for purpose. * Testing and Exercising * facilitate annual crisis simulations with country Incident Management Teams, * coordinate regular recovery strategy testing for critical processes of assigned countries, and * document and report on test results, providing recommendations to mitigate risks. * Incident and Crisis Management * act as regional point of contact during incidents or crises that affect assigned countries, * support the country Business Continuity leads in coordinating response activities,  * provide timely, clear, and accurate communications to stakeholders during incidents, and * drive Post-Incident Reviews as needed. * Training and Awareness * deliver training programs for staff to ensure awareness of business continuity protocols, * foster a culture of resilience by engaging countries in ongoing preparedness activities, and * inform countries of changes in business continuity policies, standards, practices, and strategy. * Compliance and Documentation * work with countries to ensure compliance with local regulations and global standards, * maintain up-to-date records of business continuity plans, risk assessments, and test results, * assist the regional Business Continuity and Resilience head in preparing reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as required * Continuous Improvement * monitor business continuity and resilience trends and emerging threats to ensure the business continuity program can adapt to evolving landscape, * seek feedback from countries on effectiveness of current business continuity program, and * provide recommendations in improving the way we work and raising maturity of the business continuity program in the region.
Responsibilities
The role is responsible for designing and maintaining business continuity and resilience programs across the APAC region. This includes conducting risk assessments, facilitating crisis simulations, and coordinating incident response activities.
