ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

In Group Function Global Operations (GFGO) we are passionate about simplification with a vision to drastically improve Customer and Employee Journeys and delivering outstanding operational excellence for Ericsson. Being mindful of how we spend time and consume resources in a responsible manner is one of our North Star pillars.
We’re seeking a strong executive leader accountable for leading a team of approximately 30 professionals to pro-actively perform, engage, and influence the GFGO team to reach long-term financial targets with the objective of building value for Ericsson. In this role, you will drive optimization and execution of the GFGO strategic agenda as well as business modelling linking operational and financial metrics.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile, problem-solving and creative-focused environment, you will act as a trusted advisor to the GFGO Head and Leadership Team and an integral member of the Global Finance Team led by the CFO.

YOU WILL BRING

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent, MBA/equivalent desired.
  • At least 10 years of relevant senior experience, preferably in Finance or possibly in adjacent relevant areas with demonstrated executive presence, clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Forward-leaning and change-oriented personality, actively seeking and implementing transformed ways of working, contributing to building and communicating an inspiring vision for the future, and driving concrete change in that direction.
  • Demonstrated ethical leader, leading by example with integrity and with high attention to ethics and compliance.

    This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Responsibilities
  • Drive value creation through business and financial performance (P&L, BS, Cash Flow), compliance, and risk mitigation in line with the Group Strategy.
  • Drive definition, implementation and performance management of operational and financial OKRs for the various GFGO units, such as Enterprise IT, Group Sourcing, Global Business Services, Real Estate, Data Office, Group Sales and Group Journey Transformation.
  • Drive the alignment of the financial model with the overall goals and targets of the company, while also providing support to the GFGO leadership team with financial and performance analysis.
  • Influence business decisions related to investments and performance improvements, with a focus on driving cost management and control, as well as considering all relevant dimensions such as financial, customer, employee experience, quality, and lead time in performance management.
  • Manage the Group Transformation Office (GTO) responsibilities, ensuring an efficient transformation planning process linked to strategy and business planning, within and across units in Ericsson. GTO also secures reporting, transparency, and analysis of progress of transformation plans, customer- and operational OKRs and released efficiencies into P&L.
  • Lead the GFGO Business Control team to create a productive work environment, foster a learning culture, and adopt a customer service approach, while also driving business value creation and adherence to Financial Governance.
