The Role:

We are on a mission to design and build the next generation of sustainable, 3D printed reinforced concrete structures, and we are looking for a dynamic Head of Business Development to lead our growth strategy.
As a critical member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in business development in construction and your passion for innovation to drive the adoption of our cutting-edge 3D printed concrete solutions. You will play a pivotal role in establishing strategic partnerships, identifying new market opportunities, and expanding our footprint in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive the adoption of 3D printed concrete solutions in the construction industry.
Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including construction firms, developers, architects, and government entities.
Lead negotiations and close deals with new clients, ensuring alignment with Hyperion’s mission and values.
Collaborate closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration of client requirements into our 3D printed concrete solutions.
Represent Hyperion Robotics at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our technology and build brand awareness.
Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Prepare and present compelling business proposals, pitches, and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Mentor and lead a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
Needed:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the construction or technology industries
Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
Strong understanding of the construction industry, including key players, market trends, and regulatory landscape.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative business development plans.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Passionate about sustainability and eager to drive positive change in the construction industry.
Native level English language skills and fluent German
Ability to travel freely within EU and UK
Nice to have:
Experience with 3D printing technology or other advanced manufacturing processes.
Established network of contacts within the construction industry.
Flexible to travel internationally for short periods of time to meet with clients and attend industry events.
