    The Head of Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring new clients, and expanding strategic partnerships in search marketing (SEO, PPC and SEM) . This fully remote based leadership role will start as an individual contributor with a clear mandate to secure £1,000,000 in annual revenue , before scaling a high-performing business development team. The successful candidate will be a commercially driven, hands-on sales leader with a proven track record of closing enterprise-level deals and exceeding revenue targets. With a £52,000 basic salary and an OTE of £100,000-£120,000 , this role rewards performance and provides the opportunity to build a sales function around early successes.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships in search marketing (SEO, PPC, SEM, Performance Marketing).
  • Demonstrated ability to secure £1M+ in annual revenue through new business development.
  • Proven experience in closing enterprise-level deals and managing high-value sales cycles.
  • Strong knowledge of search marketing platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc.).
  • Ability to build and lead a high-performing sales team once key milestones are achieved.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using CRM and sales analytics tools to track and optimise performance.
