As Head of Business Intelligence, you’ll lead the Commercial MI team to build and maintain high quality MI and data visualisation to help functions derive meaningful insight from AXA Commercial data. You’ll drive the MI strategy, overseeing the migration from legacy reporting to a new suite of Power BI reporting and building a data partnership model with the business. Our focus is to ensure the Commercial MI capability can scale and grow.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. • Building and delivering the Commercial MI strategy and oversee the transition from legacy reporting to strategic roll out of Power BI
• Driving the Commercial business forward through the delivery of MI solutions, embedding data skills, capabilities and behaviours across the organisation to enable and foster a data driven culture
• Leading and developing multiple skilled MI Teams to deliver prioritised end-user focused reporting and visualisation outputs, closely working with business teams to support both ad-hoc and strategic insight use cases
• Monitoring the usage and uptake of the MI landscape, ensuring the MI is timely, accurate and issues are tracked and resolvedResourcing planning ensuring robust resource plans are in place to meet short and long term demand
• Managing the workload of the team in an agile methodology, balancing between legacy demand and strategic transformation
• Building and maintaining key relationships with business teams, partnering with them to delivery customer focused solutions and building a customer centric team
• Delivering and maintaining solutions for business or regulatory reporting needs and ensuring key controls, governance and data management practices are followed
