OVERVIEW:

Alameda Capital, a leading private equity firm, is seeking its first Head of Capital Formation to spearhead capital-raising efforts. This critical role will drive the firm’s growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: 5+ years in capital formation, investor relations, or business development within private credit, private equity, hedge funds, or venture capital.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in securing commitments from institutional investors and HNWIs.
  • Network: Extensive connections with institutional allocators, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, HubSpot, and Notion.
  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel globally as needed.
  • Industry Expertise: Background in fintech or related industries is preferred.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of SEC regulations and best practices for private equity firms is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global fundraising strategy aligned with the firm’s growth objectives.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with institutional investors, family offices, HNWIs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for investors, ensuring timely, clear, and professional communication about the firm’s strategy, performance, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage investor materials, including reports, presentations, newsletters, and due diligence packages.
  • Organize and lead investor meetings, roadshows, and events to highlight the firm’s investment strategies and market positioning.
  • Provide insights to senior leadership on investor sentiment, capital market trends, and strategic opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and consistent messaging in marketing and investor communications.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for investor communications and disclosures.
  • Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform investor relations strategies.
