Description

Company Description
Nine is Australia’s largest locally owned media company. Working at Nine, you’ll have access to a unique range of experiences and opportunities, helping drive the success of the country’s most trusted television, radio, digital and publishing brands.
Our content reaches almost every Australian - meaning what we do has real impact. We bring people together, celebrate the big moments, and capture the everyday ones.
Some of our most beloved brands have been part of Australian life for generations, and others - new on the scene - have already found their place firmly in our lives. We’re evolving and we need people like you to bring new ideas, innovate and make your mark.
Job Description
Do you possess the unique ability to make complex transformations not just understood, but enthusiastically adopted?
Nine is looking for a Change & Communications Lead to drive the successful adoption of our People & Culture (P&C) and “Nine2028” transformation initiatives.
In a dynamic business like ours, connecting with diverse teams, from newsrooms to digital platforms, is key. You’ll translate strategic shifts into intuitive, practical steps, ensuring everyone at Nine understands, engages with, and embraces new ways of working. This isn’t just about sending emails; it’s about crafting a smooth transition that enhances our employee experience and embeds cultural shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust change management frameworks and plans for major P&C transformations, including impact assessments and readiness evaluations.
  • Create clear, consistent, and engaging communications (presentations, newsletters, intranet content, etc.) for all levels of the business.
  • Partner closely with P&C and executive leaders to secure buy-in and active sponsorship, facilitating workshops and feedback sessions.
  • Support the integration of change activities into project plans, ensuring effective embedding of new systems and processes, and monitoring adoption.
  • Collaborate on identifying training needs and developing programs to equip employees and leaders for new ways of working.
  • Establish metrics to track the effectiveness of change and communication efforts, using feedback to drive continuous improvement.
