PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant professional experience in civil engineering/fibre optic expansion.
  • Project Management knowledge or relevant training would be an advantage.
  • Expert knowledge in construction contract law and construction technology (VOB)
  • Knowledge of the guidelines for securing work sites on roads (RSA)
  • Proficiency in German and English, written and spoken.Excellent communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial skills and thinking
  • Excellent MS office skills
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead the planning/management/coordination of the civil engineering department (or the construction sites)
  • Overview the Deployment and planning of the construction sites (construction management/columns/subcontractors)
  • Coordination/management of the accompanying assistance.
  • Responsibility for full compliance with safety-related aspects, such as occupational safety, environmental protection and health protection.
  • Ensure the process of coordination of the manual and technical work is completed by the teams.
  • Responsible for the preparation and monitoring of construction schedules.
  • Responsible for the ongoing cost calculation of projects.
  • Monitoring of construction sites/quality management.
  • Customer advice and support
  • Responsible for reviews with company construction managers and foremen.
  • Completion of official acceptances.
  • Ensure resource management is completed.
  • Responsible for material procurement.
  • Completion of the tendering process to include and obtaining cost estimates
