COMPENSATION RANGE: $200,000 - 250,000 PER YEAR

We’re looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial leader to drive our brand’s growth and expansion in the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will be a brand champion with a strong background in beauty and wellness, possessing a unique blend of marketing and business development expertise. This role is a pivotal position with significant potential for growth, including a future career growth to a General Manager position for our client’s U.S. operations.
We’re looking for a product educator with a strong background in brand and retail marketing. We’ll be especially impressed by candidates who can show a track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Industry Expertise: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the beauty or wellness industry, with a strong understanding of both brand marketing and commercial functions. Experience with a challenger brand is a plus. Product Educator is highly preferred.
  • Retail Partner Experience: Mandatory experience with our major retail partner (Ulta), including a proven track record of managing and growing a brand within their ecosystem.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: The ability to think strategically and act with an entrepreneurial spirit, with a focus on problem-solving and proactive business development rather than just project management.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated experience in business development, account management, and an analytical approach to evaluating new market opportunities and partnerships.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership and storytelling skills with a high degree of accountability and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead U.S. Market Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the U.S. market, with a primary focus on new customer acquisition and strategic retail partnerships.
  • Manage Key Retailer Relationship: Own and nurture the relationship with a major anchor retail partner, driving growth through strategic initiatives such as door expansion, promotional events, and enhanced e-commerce exposure.
  • Oversee Retail Operations: Manage and lead the U.S. retail fleet, including store performance, local event planning, and budget oversight to drive brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Pioneer New Growth Opportunities: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities beyond our primary retail partner, including conversations with other major retailers, e-commerce platforms, and vertically integrated channels.
  • Brand & Growth Marketing: Collaborate closely with the global marketing team to ensure brand integrity while developing and implementing growth marketing strategies to achieve ambitious new customer acquisition targets.
