Job Description:
AXA Partners is on a transformative journey to become a tech-led company, leveraging Information and Technology as key enablers. We are developing digital assets that enhance our customer journey and provide 24/7 services integrated with our partners. As part of this transformation, we are migrating the majority of our applications to the Cloud.
We are seeking a Head of Cloud to oversee all Cloud services for Partners IT. This role will involve defining the Cloud Strategy, designing and building Cloud platforms, and managing activities related to all Cloud services. You will lead transversal teams and cultivate a network of contacts within the Applications teams and regions.

EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Engineering Degree.
• Several years of experience as an IT Manager, including at least 5 years in Cloud services.
• Proven experience managing Production teams and Outsourcers.

TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Strong expertise in Cloud Services management for both recurring activities and projects.
• In-depth knowledge of IT Production, particularly ITIL and DevOps methodologies.
• Proficient in IT Infrastructure management.
• Experience managing multiple teams and outsourced services.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a functional organization.
• Strong financial acumen to autonomously manage budgets, including understanding basic financial concepts.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues at various levels.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage teams and topics transversally in a matrix organization.
• Capacity to propose and implement new processes and methods.
• Fluent in English.

DIMENSIONS OF ROLE

The Head of Cloud will be responsible for all Transversal Cloud Services, managing teams focused on both platform and managed services. This international position is central to AXA Partners’ IT Strategy. As we embrace Agility, DevOps, and Cloud technologies, we need a manager who can adapt infrastructure processes accordingly. You will play a crucial role in overseeing operational activities and driving transformation projects.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

As Head of Cloud, you will ensure that:

• Cloud solutions are designed and implemented in line with AXA Partners IT strategy, are efficient, cost-optimized, adhere to AXA Group principles, and maintain full security.
• A technical roadmap for Cloud services is defined, formalized, and aligned with both Group strategy and the needs of AXA Partners teams.
• Operational activities are clearly defined and included in a continuous improvement plan, with SLAs for platforms and transversal services consistently met.
• Security levels of the platform are monitored and align with CISO requirements, ensuring that security actions are implemented effectively.
• Support for projects utilizing Cloud expertise is efficient and effective.
• Cloud organization in regions is established, aligning with transversal expectations and engaging in communities of practice.
• A Cloud Guild with Applications teams is studied and implemented, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• The organizational structure of your team is optimized, with RACI and missions defined and communicated clearly.
• Budget activities are managed effectively, ensuring forecasts and actuals meet targets.
• FinOps activities are in place to optimize Cloud costs.
• You lead the technical architecture guild as a transversal role within Global IT Operations.

As the Head of Cloud, you will be the primary contact for Cloud services within the Group, interacting with a broad range of IT managers, particularly in applications, Security, and Network teams.
