WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
We are seeking a commercially savvy leader with a graduate-level background in law, surveying, or the built environment, ideally with chartered status. You will bring proven commercial leadership experience, ideally within housing or a related sector, alongside a strong grasp of UK contract and commercial law, with the ability to manage complex contracts and negotiations. Exceptional financial acumen, the ability to interpret data, model risks, and translate insights into action, and a track record of building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels are all essential for success in this role.

As Head of Commercial, you will be at the forefront of business transformation, working closely with our Operations and Commercial Directors. You will drive profitability and growth by developing smart cost-saving and revenue-generating strategies, lead supplier partnerships by managing performance and ensuring compliance, and act as the trusted voice for commercial, legal, and procurement matters across the group. You will strengthen risk management by building frameworks that span financial, operational, and technical elements, while also supporting sustainability goals by embedding carbon reduction and greener practices into deliverables across the MoD estate. Above all, you will inspire confidence with stakeholders at every level, acting as the go-to partner for our customers’ commercial teams.
