Your tasks

• They lead the communications and marketing division with the communications, event management and service center teams – professionally, disciplinarily and strategically.
• They develop and are responsible for our integrated communications and media strategy – including press and public relations, media relations, digital communications, as well as internal and crisis communications – and implement it in close coordination with the specialist departments.
• They shape the brand positioning of the Darmstadt Chamber of Industry and Commerce as a strong voice of business in the region – with a consistent presence across all channels and formats.
• They drive innovation and transformation in communication and customer management – ​​from digital brand management and storytelling to dialogue-oriented participation formats.
• They advise management, committees and departments on strategic communication issues and manage stakeholder relations.
• They lead with confidence, promote personal responsibility and provide guidance, even in phases of fundamental realignment.
• You are responsible for the budget, resources, and continuous development of your area.

Your profile

• You have a completed university degree – preferably in communication, media or economics – or a comparable qualification.
• They have several years of management experience in corporate communications, branding or marketing, have already led heterogeneous teams with several employees and successfully managed change processes.
• They have achieved success in strategic communication and brand management and also consider communication as a strategic instrument for organizational development.
• They are comfortable navigating the digital communication world – from traditional media to social media, internal and crisis communication.
• They combine analytical strength with empathy, inspire others with ideas, and lead with clarity and persuasiveness.
• They enjoy working in a team, promote diversity, and value open, respectful communication.
