You will be employed directly by The SU. We are a membership-led charity; run by students, for students. We represent students from two different universities: Falmouth University and the University of Exeter.

Are you looking for an exciting role; based in beautiful coastal Cornwall? This role is an exciting opportunity to join The SU, based on the stunning, award-winning campus’ at Penryn and Falmouth leading on our activities programme:

  • To enable and support outstanding and engaging activities in line with our vision, mission, values and organising principles to the student community in Cornwall.
  • To lead the ongoing development of approaches, guidance and support provided for student led communities, groups, activities, projects, and events: empowering students to lead activities both on and off campus, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  • To lead a vibrant team of professional staff- fostering a culture of collaboration and support where staff feel valued and motivated.
  • To support, motivate and build the resilience of both Sabbatical Officers and the wider staffing team through coaching, guidance and direction.
  • Managing and supporting student volunteers, and fostering student volunteering opportunities within the community.
  • Develop your personal leadership development through continued professional development.
  • Help us shape our exciting new strategic plan for the next three to five years.
