The UK Compliance team, part of the Risk and Intelligent Automation Function, is made up of dedicated professionals who ensure strong regulatory standards and customer protection across the business.
The Head of Compliance Governance and Engagement plays a key leadership role, driving strong compliance governance and building trusted relationships across the business. This role is crucial in upholding effective oversight and championing a culture of regulatory excellence across our UK gambling operations.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Expertise in compliance, governance, and regulatory affairs within the UK gambling or other highly regulated sectors
  • Deep knowledge of UKGC requirements, LCCP, AML, data privacy, and safer gambling regulations
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional initiatives, and deliver effective compliance programs
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, risk assessment, and clear communication with both internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain governance structures and the compliance policy framework to meet evolving regulatory expectations
  • Ensure compliance policies and standards are up to date, effective, and aligned with UK regulatory requirements
  • Drive the effectiveness of Compliance Committees through meeting facilitation, deck preparation, action tracking, and issue escalation
  • Oversee regulatory KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to senior stakeholders, including the Board and Audit Committees
  • Build strong partnerships with Legal, Risk, Audit, Product, and Operations to embed a culture of compliance
  • Lead initiatives that educate and influence internal stakeholders on compliance obligations and regulatory expectations
  • Develop and maintain the compliance monitoring framework, track assurance outcomes, and map controls to regulations
  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes (e.g., Gambling Act reform, UKGC consultations) and benchmark against industry best practices.
