Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing an C&B strategy for our large C&B department – consisting of various meeting rooms and banqueting spaces of up to 600 seated for dinner
  • Managing and organising the C&B team, ensuring that we are fully covered at the times we need to be and working with a largely part-time team
  • Ensuring IHG standards are being met throughout the events taking place in the hotel, whilst also guiding the team through the transition to InterContinental by ensuring the team are trained where they need to me and that the brand standards are being met
  • Working closely with the other F&B managers throughout the hotel to pursue an aligned approach across the wider F&B function
