Description:
WYM Legal is recovering from reputational damage caused by rapid growth and high staff turnover.
That’s not who we are or who we want to be so our mission is to fix our mistakes and re-build our reputation as a client centric, professional practise.
We urgently need a Head of Conveyancing who will thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute meaningfully to the restructure and repositioning of the business.
Besides playing an integral role within the senior management team, you will be directly responsible for continuous improvement of the customer journey, including but not limited to:
· Ensuring professional excellence within the practise, and that all legal requirements are met timeously throughout the transaction process
· Provide training, guidance and quality management to a team of consultant conveyancers
· Monitoring the progress of property transactions from initial instruction to completion and resolving any problems
· Interacting with clients, managing expectations and responding to complaints
· Proactively identifying potential deficiencies and resolving them promptly.
· Managing fees and costs associated with each transaction type
· Continually reviewing and improving correspondence, legal documents and templates to ensure accuracy thereof
· Managing the lender panel
· Ensuring regulatory compliance
We want to hear from you if you are up to the challenge and have
o 6 years of PQE experience as a CILEX Lawyer, Licenced Conveyancer or Solicitor
o A reputation for delivery and a hands-on approach
o Unquestionable integrity
o High energy levels with a passion for customer service
o Excellent communication, persuasion and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and trust at all levels, and successfully lead change initiatives
o A track record of working within a small and dynamic team
o An interest in using technology to improve the client experience.
