Responsibilities

National Energy System Operator’s (NESO) strength lies in our people. Together, we’re shaping the future where clean, affordable energy is accessible for all. Every day is an opportunity to make a real difference, accelerating the progress of sustainable GB energy, keeping people connected and society thriving as we create a brighter tomorrow.
The Head of Corporate Strategy is a vital role that will help NESO accomplish its purpose, vision and values and secure its long term future. The role will work closely with other teams (e.g Finance, People and Transformation) to ensure effective use of resources and capabilities whilst ensuring delivery of NESO’s Corporate Strategy. Through fulfilling this role, you will work closely with the Board, Executive Committee and senior leadership teams – and across the wider organisation - working on the highest priority issues. You will become part of a high calibre, curious, motivated, inclusive directorate, that can lead to excellent onward career opportunities.
