  • Exceptional communication skills to enable strong partnerships cross functionally
  • Demonstrate experience of leading on 360 campaigns
  • Proven experience leading teams
  • Demonstrate a depth of knowledge across social, digital, retail, print, editorial, email and CRM comms
  • Passion for image making and a great roster of contacts
  • Ability to link creativity and strategy
  • A storyteller, able to demonstrate experience communicating complex ideas and information with clarity and hierarchy
  • Ability to see challenges and opportunities clearly, working collaboratively to prioritise solutions
  • Aware of industry and platform trends and be able to translate these for The White Company
  • Experience across both fashion and interiors
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

OUR ROLE

As Head of Creative, you will be a talented, passionate, digitally focused creative leader, with demonstratable experience to take our amazing brand to the next level. You will shape and lead cross-functional squads to deliver on concepts and business briefs across all channels ensuring a nuanced best practice approach, consistency, and efficiency.
Reporting into the Chief Creative Officer, the Head of Creative will partner closely with Marketing and Brand leaders as well as forging bonds across category leads.
The opportunity: a pivotal role in shaping the brand narrative, building on the successful B&M and print channels to develop a cohesive Creative team, capable of expanding and improving digital, social, and experiential channels in order to set the business up for the next 30 years.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • You will oversee the development and execution of creative concepts and seasonal campaigns which align with our brand vision and purpose to deliver our brand marketing objectives across all channels.
  • Shape and lead cross-functional squads to deliver on concepts and business briefs across all channels ensuring a nuanced best practice approach, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Partner with marketing and brand leaders along with building strong partnerships across category leaders.
  • Lead a busy creative team through the BAU whilst focusing time and energy in driving change in ways of working
  • Nurture and develop the team’s capabilities, inspiring through an outward-looking perspective underpinned with significant knowledge and experience.
  • Involved in budget planning and setting creative strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Ensuring delivery of a cohesive, creative lifestyle proposition, linking Home, Clothing and Baby/Children’s.
  • Working collaboratively with the Head of Creative Operations to provide a clear brief to the shoot production team for seasonal assets across all channels in line with the critical path.
