About this opportunity: We are seeking a Head of Cybersecurity and Investigations for Ericsson Americas, who will manage aspects of Cybersecurity incident response and management, and security investigations across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. This leader will ensure the implementation and effectiveness of the cybersecurity and security investigations programs are aligned with Ericsson Group level objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and Legal, the Head of Cybersecurity and Investigations addresses regional risks, establishes security policies specific to the region, and responds to incidents and manages investigations. This position is based in Plano, Texas, and reports to the Head of Security, Americas. What you will do: Lead a team of approximately 2 security professionals across the region's organization to continuously improve security strategies and mitigate risks. Coordinate and drive incident management response to cybersecurity incidents to ensure prompt action to limit exposure. Collaborate with the global security organization to preserve enterprise security, create policies, and implement technologies, to protect Ericsson's infrastructure and sensitive information. Keep informed of the latest cybersecurity technology to continue to improve existing systems and programs. Lead, guide, and instruct personnel with investigations. Interface with law enforcement and security-focused government agencies (e.g., FBI, CISA, RCMP, etc.). Ensure that security risks are represented and considered in the overall Enterprise Risk Management process, employing best practices. The skills you bring: A bachelor's degree in security management, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in security roles, with people management experience is preferred. Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity, risk assessment, and incident and/or crisis management. Extensive knowledge of Security related standards and regulations, including ISO/IEC 27001, 22301, DataPrivacy Legislations, SOX, 3GPP/NESAS, NIST 800-53. Proven experience in developing and implementing security strategies across complex, multi-site organizations. Investigations experience. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, and the ability to lead across organizations without a direct reporting line. Skilled in developing and leading a collaborative team of 2+ security personnel dedicated to investigative work. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex security issues in clear, business-focused terms. Security and Risk Management trainings and certifications (CISSP, CISM or others) or equivalent experience preferred. Proficient in English (written and verbal).
