Required Qualifications, US:

  • 8+ years of Construction Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Responsibilities

Wells Fargo is seeking a Construction Management Director for our Data Center Portfolio.
Reporting to the Global Head of Design and Construction Management, the Data Center Construction Management Director will lead physical infrastructure construction and remediation activities in core and regional data centers. This person will also lead construction of net new data centers. He/she will be a key sponsor for all construction efforts and will lead program and project teams for multimillion-dollar construction projects. This leader must be an expert in latest data center design and construction principles, with extensive experience leading recent data center construction projects.

In this role, you will:

  • Building and maintaining a diverse, talented, educated, and risk management focused team who are responsible for developing and providing products and services that strive to mitigate risk and loss, comply with applicable regulations and Wells Fargo policies and procedures
  • Promoting a safe, secure, and ethical business environment for all employees and customers
  • Leading strategic planning, business objective development and execution, and management of all assigned building projects
  • Routinely communicating updates to senior management and making formal presentations to support business objectives
  • Serving on senior level company committees and industry peer working groups
  • Maintaining a high degree of expertise and knowledge specific to data center construction, applicable laws and regulations, industry benchmarking, emerging issues, internal guidelines and policies, services, and business processes
  • Manage and develop multiple teams of managers and professional individual contributors with focus on delivering services of moderate to high complexity and risk for cross-functional stakeholders and internal partners
  • Manage large complex construction projects and provide budget and financial aspects of the business to meet overall goals
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including more experienced management, on strategy, operations management, and on building organizational effectiveness as well as performance
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Construction Management
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
