JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in data analytics, with a track record of leading successful data projects. Prior experience in a senior leadership role is highly desirable.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Expertise in data analytics tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with big data platforms (e.g., S3, Snowflake, Kafka, Airflow) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Ability to develop and execute a data strategy that drives business growth and innovation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities
  • Create and implement a comprehensive data strategy that supports business goals and drives value from data assets. Identify opportunities to leverage data to drive product development, marketing, customer success, and other key areas.
  • Establish frameworks for data quality, privacy, compliance, and security to ensure responsible data management practices.
  • Data Privacy & Governance:
  • Ensure that Katalon complies with global privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and emerging privacy laws
  • Lead the development of advanced analytics and machine learning models to uncover insights, predict trends, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, engineering, and customer success, to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Manage the development and optimization of data platforms, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and machine learning. Evaluate and implement new tools and methodologies to enhance the analytics capabilities.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing data team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while promoting professional growth.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
