What you will be doing:
As the Head of Delivery – Data Transformation you will be accountable for the successful delivery of a single enterprise data platform and data products for the Group as well as the seamless migration of existing data assets and pipelines to the platform.
This role will ensure the delivery meets business requirements, adheres to time, quality, and budget constraints, and aligns with organizational strategies for data transformation.

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Driving the data migration programme whilst managing multiple workstreams, including inbound demand from other business areas, to ensure effective prioritization and timely delivery
  • Overseeing the design, build, and implementation of the groups single data platform to ensure operational readiness
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and technology partners, to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Developing and implementing a robust governance framework to monitor progress and mitigate risks
  • Translating complex technical requirements into actionable plans for implementation
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key business stakeholders to understand data and analytics needs
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring the platform aligns with strategic business objectives and providing regular programme status to leadership ensuring transparency in delivery metrics
  • Line management coaching of all direct reports including all aspects of performance management, development, employee administration and recruitment

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £90,000 - £110,000 and a competitive benefits package including:

  • Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 25%
  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Extensive previous experience of project / programme management including Agile experience is essential
  • Robust previous experience of working in data transformation focused roles with proven experience of cloud migrations ideally within financial services
  • Formal qualification in programme managemen
Responsibilities

THIS ROLE CAN EITHER BE BASED IN CHATHAM IN KENT OR WOLVERHAMPTON, THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL TRAVEL TO LONDON ON A REGULAR BASIS

In return for your commitment:

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £90,000 - £110,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
