You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered consistently, efficiently and to a high standard, while implementing the frameworks, tools, reporting and governance processes that enable successful project delivery across the organisation. You will also be accountable for customer satisfaction, resource utilisation, delivery performance and contributing to the commercial success of the business.

Experience within networking, telecommunications, infrastructure or technology project environments would be highly regarded.

The Role

As Head of Delivery, you will be responsible for leading IPTel's Project Management Office (PMO), engineering delivery resources and overall project delivery function.

You will work closely with customers, Project Managers, engineers, suppliers, contractors and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, risks are effectively managed, resources are optimised and customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and managing IPTel's PMO, engineering delivery resources and overall project delivery function
• Leading, managing and developing a team of 16 staff, including 5 PMO professionals and 11 Network Engineers
• Creating and maintaining a high-performance, customer-focused delivery culture
• Conducting performance reviews, setting objectives and supporting career development across the delivery function
• Recruiting, onboarding and developing project delivery and engineering staff as required
• Providing leadership, mentoring, coaching and performance management across both project delivery and engineering teams
• Supporting succession planning, capability development and workforce growth
• Ensuring effective collaboration between PMO and engineering teams
• Establishing, maintaining and continually improving project delivery methodologies, standards, templates and governance frameworks
• Providing strategic oversight of IPTel's project portfolio
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards
• Monitoring project performance across schedules, budgets, risks, resource allocation and customer commitments
