For more information, visit WPP.com. The Role The Head of Delivery & PMO role owns the end-to-end delivery of our most significant long-horizon, multi-market initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring these strategic programmes are delivered with predictability and excellence, acting as the senior control point for delivery assurance, master planning, and executive visibility. You are the ultimate owner of the ‘how’ and the ‘when’ for our largest-scale work, translating ambitious strategic goals into tangible, flawlessly executed realities. Your leadership will be critical in managing complexity, mitigating risk, fostering a strong global delivery culture, and ensuring that our most important work lands successfully. Responsibilities Oversee integrated master planning for all major global programmes, creating the single source of truth for programme timelines, and manage all cross-capability dependencies. Provide robust delivery assurance, proactively assessing risk, managing dependencies, creating and executing recovery plans where necessary to mitigate risk. Ensure the smooth landing of transitioned work into business-as-usual (BAU) operations, developing clear transition-to-service protocols in collaboration with regional and client teams. Maintain clear and consistent delivery visibility for client executive leadership and key WPP stakeholders by translating complex project data into coherent updates. Foster a strong, collaborative global delivery culture, recognising that it brings together a wide range of expertise in a new, broader type of capability. Build deep relationships between geographies, client teams, and disciplines to maximise our collective output and enhance creative delivery. Key Skills Programme Leadership. Proven experience leading the delivery of senior, large-scale, and complex programmes in a global environment. Global Initiative Management. Demonstrable experience managing global, multi-discipline initiatives from inception to completion, with a track record of predictable delivery. Integrated Marketing Literacy. Strong understanding and literacy across Customer Experience (CX), creative, and media disciplines to effectively manage integrated programmes. Innovation & AI Fluency. A deep curiosity and practical understanding of how to leverage emerging technologies, particularly AI through our WPP Open platform, to drive delivery assurance, automate reporting, and ensure predictable execution of strategic programmes. Inclusive Leadership. An inclusive leadership style, able to lead from the front with clear instructions and direction but always approachable and able to inspire a diverse array of production and delivery talent, creating an environment where every voice is heard.
