We are seeking to fill the position of Head of Department (m/f/d) OEM Purchasing Bicycles at our Cologne location as soon as possible. Job description

• Development and implementation of purchasing strategies for components, accessories and services
• Establishing, maintaining and developing international supplier relationships, including travel to suppliers, trade fairs and industry events at home and abroad.
• Conducting price, contract and terms negotiations with national and international partners.
• Responsibility for cost optimization, delivery capability, quality and risk management along the supply chain
• Support for new product projects from the concept phase to series production.
• Management of forecasts, demand planning and purchasing budgets
• Participation in shaping purchasing processes and continuous development of standards, methods and digital solutions. Requirements profile
• Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional and management experience in strategic purchasing in the OEM environment of the bicycle industry
• Solid knowledge in the areas of supplier management, contract law and negotiation.
• Understanding of technical products and complex supply chains
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
• High level of initiative, assertiveness and sense of responsibility are benefits.

• Salary range: €100,000 - €140,000
