Summary
We are looking for a “Head of Department Spectrum Dominance Land Solution Engineering (f/m/d)” for the “Spectrum Dominance Land Solution Engineering” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The “Spectrum Dominance Land Solution Engineering” department is responsible for customer solutions in the field of electronic support and electronic attack for ground-based systems.
The field includes the design of networked ESM and ECM solutions, the design and implementation of vehicle and shelter solutions as well as the integration and testing of these systems. The department is also responsible for and develops the necessary software.

Your Tasks

• Disciplinary and technical management as well as individual promotion / further development of subordinate employees (system engineers and software developers)
• Coordinating the planning and implementation of commissioned development projects and services within the agreed quality, time and cost framework in accordance with the specified processes
• Responsible for creating and defining budget, personnel and resource planning
• Building up expertise in the field of electronic warfare land solutions
• Ensuring the planning and definition of product roadmaps
• Ensuring the sustainable and synergetic use of products and promoting innovation and continuous improvement
• Acquisition support and preparation of development offers in the area of responsibility
• Close cooperation with other development departments, the program area and sales

Your Profile

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or similar
• Many years of practical experience in the preparation of development offers and cost estimates
• Extensive experience in the planning and management of complex development projects
• Experience in the field of COMS electronic warfare and land systems
• Proven ability to manage and motivate interdisciplinary teams
• Enthusiasm for new concepts, procedures and development approaches
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills as well as strong communication and organizational skills
• Fluency in German and English
