Mō te tūranga | About the Role
This is a pivotal senior leadership position within the Digital team driving for high performance of Westpac’s critical digital distribution channels. The role is accountable for the strategic direction, management and performance of the digital channels that serve our consumer customers. The role also holds enterprise-wide responsibility for the strategic direction and performance of Westpac’s mobile app banking experiences.
You will lead the vision, scope, business and customer requirements and ongoing evolution of Westpac’s digital experiences within your remit, ensuring they deliver exceptional value and usability for our customers, as well driving business efficiencies for the bank.

  • More than 10 years of exceptional experience in a similar role designing, building, managing and optimising mobile app experience.
  • Demonstrable experience driving distribution channel outcomes
  • A deep understanding of core business processes and associated technical solutions
  • A data-hungry problem solver who is uncomfortable with the status-quo
  • A natural story-teller with strong leadership credentials to drive continuous improvement in a matrix-based organisation
  • Strong experience formulating and implementing strategy
