  • Developing, implementing and managing a comprehensive digital strategy aligned to organisational values and strategic aims
  • Leadership collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and partners and the ability to be a key influencer to lead public sector digital landscape at a national level as part of public sector reform and collaboration
  • Leading and developing a function with a diverse mix of technical experts, managers and staff which delivers innovative, efficient and effective solutions to achieve organisation wide and team objectives, developing the digital maturity of the function
  • Leading a large and complex digital estate ensuring that all digital solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards
  • Leadership collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and partners and the ability to be a key influencer to lead public sector digital landscape at a national level as part of public sector reform and collaboration

This is a highly important role within our Finance, Modernisation and Digital portfolio which means you will need:

  • A track record of enterprise-wide architecture experience and application to ensure digital change and transformation is embedded in the culture of the organisation
  • Significant experience and technical leadership to deliver key digital transformation interconnected projects at all stages of project life cycle
  • Demonstratable experience of technical cyber security & information strategies to the role, mitigating risk and developing digital maturity
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness bringing experience of contract & and supplier management to drive innovative solutions as well as financial savings & service additionality
  • A high level of professional competence and knowledge gained through professional and management experience at a senior/strategic level equivalent to a minimum of SCQF Level 1
