Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Head of Digital Marketing holds the primary responsibility of developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across various digital channels, including website, app, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and paid media. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, creative execution, and analytical prowess to effectively reach and engage target audiences in alignment with the organization’s overall business objectives. Additionally, you oversee the implementation of Salesforce CRM, manage the organisation’s loyalty program, and optimise gift card strategies.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will lead a team of specialists, staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain the organisation’s competitive edge in the digital landscape, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate digital marketing efforts seamlessly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative digital marketing strategies that align with the organization’s brand identity and business goals.
  • Oversee the management of digital marketing channels, including but not limited to website, app, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM) and paid media.
  • Utilise data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and initiatives, and make data-driven decisions to optimise performance and maximize ROI.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of digital marketing efforts with other business functions.
  • Develop and manage digital marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes and deliverables within budget constraints.
  • Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all digital marketing channels and campaigns, maintaining a cohesive brand identity and messaging strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and growth within the digital marketing realm, proposing and implementing new initiatives and strategies to drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage.
  • Lead the development of our member proposition app and build the strategy delivering mutually beneficial long-term relationships with consumers.
  • Strategically drive growth and identify the loyalty feature set needs through insights from field research, usability studies, and surveys.
  • Identify key customer audience and opportunities to recruit new customers through the programme.
  • Develop the annual and seasonal loyalty marketing plans as an integral component of the planning process.
  • Manage the established budget for promotional initiatives and lead the financial planning for the app development and the loyalty programme.
  • Lead the implementation of Salesforce across the organisation, working closely with IT and relevant stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
  • Customise Salesforce to meet the specific needs of the digital marketing team, including lead management, customer segmentation, and campaign tracking functionalities.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive gift card sales and usage, including promotional campaigns, partnerships, and incentives.
  • Collaborate with broader teams to establish pricing, revenue goals, and performance metrics for gift card sales.
  • Utilise Salesforce data and insights to personalize gift card marketing efforts and target relevant customer segments.
