Role and tasks

• Strategy, Portfolio and Program Management GenAI:
• You will consistently implement our GenAI Strategy 2025+ and translate it into a clear, actionable program for the international organization. You will be responsible for managing the entire portfolio of GenAI initiatives: from prioritization and roadmap development to operational implementation. This includes regular reporting to the board of directors and management bodies, as well as ensuring the economic benefits of the programs and business cases.
• Pipeline Management:
• You proactively identify new GenAI use cases across national and departmental boundaries, develop viable business cases together with the specialist departments, and guide them through the relevant decision-making and committee processes in order to then implement them in a structured manner.
• Technology Scaling & Harmonization:
• You actively drive the group-wide use of GenAI technologies and ensure that central solutions are scalable and deployed uniformly. The goal is to consistently leverage synergies and avoid isolated solutions.
• International AI Governance:
• You will lead and continuously develop the central AI governance function. This includes defining binding guidelines for AI systems, taking into account legal and regulatory requirements, as well as monitoring compliance both domestically and internationally. You will also be responsible for a central AI inventory and internal and external reporting.
• Adoption & Change Management:
• They ensure that GenAI and digital technologies are adopted across the entire organization. This includes the design and implementation of enablement measures, training and workshops, as well as building an AI multiplier community so that planned efficiency gains are actually realized.

Profile and qualifications

• A completed degree in economics, business analytics, business informatics, information technology or a comparable field of study; additionally, certifications in project management (e.g. PMP, Agile) and in digital transformation are desirable.
• At least 5–8 years of experience in leadership positions in internationally operating, data- or technology-driven companies. You have a proven track record of building high-performing teams and leading them through major transformation or change programs, ideally within an international corporate environment or in business development.
• You possess strong leadership skills, including clear and persuasive communication and a confident demeanor when interacting with diverse stakeholders, including top management and board members. You also bring excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation abilities, intercultural sensitivity, and a willingness to travel regularly.
• A very good understanding of generative AI, digital technologies, and the EU AI Act, as well as experience in building and managing international programs and governance structures. You can develop strategic concepts and possess strong analytical skills for planning and evaluating business cases and roadmaps.
• They bring demonstrable experience in change management, particularly in winning over employees to new technologies and promoting sustainable acceptance.
