We are looking for a Head of DTPS - Lab Technology & Operations who is highly innovation-driven, inspiring and collaborative to join us in our Digital Technology for Patient Solutions (DTPS) team, based in our office in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be leading a team that empowers scientific research through the design and delivery of compliant, secure, and innovative technology solutions that enhance laboratory operations and scientific excellence across Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the United States, ultimately driving better outcomes for patients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead the delivery of digital solutions for research labs across multiple regions
  • Ensure lab systems comply with regulations and remain Trusted, Secure, Safe and Compliant
  • Enable and automate raw data capture and processing of state-of-the-art lab instruments
  • Shape and drive the DTPS strategy and project portfolio execution
  • Manage system lifecycle, support and innovation of all research laboratory applications, including GLP platforms
  • Coach and develop a diverse team of experts and future leaders

INTERESTED? FOR THIS ROLE WE’RE LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Master’s degree in life sciences, information technology, or a related discipline
  • Over 10 years’ experience in IT and R&D, ideally with GxP and lab automation exposure
  • Proven experience in leading people, managing cross-functional programs, projects and budgets
  • Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud storage and compute technologies, and software development best practices
  • Experience in supporting scientific areas like genomics, imaging or bio/chemistry
  • Inspiring leadership style, analytical thinking and outstanding communication skills
