WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree as a minimum requirement, and MBA preferred. Target fields of study include economics, management, business administration, marketing, or managerial engineering. A substantial background of 8+ years, with significant leadership responsibilities, is necessary. Mandatory E-Commerce background is required, with additional experience in digital strategy, digital marketing, and brand management being highly valued. Previous involvement in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is strongly preferred. Essential attributes include strategic thinking and analytical skills, along with a proactive attitude, curiosity, and a propensity for innovation. Effective project management abilities, including the capability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives within designated timeframes, are essential. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are imperative, as is the capacity to influence key functions and stakeholders.
Moreover, proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, is essential. Familiarity with eCommerce Direct-to-Consumer platforms is highly desirable, such as E-Shop software solutions and CRM tools. Knowledge of advanced analytics tools would be advantageous.
Fluency in English is required, while any other language is considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Head of E-Commerce Channels and E-Customer Development within the Sales Business Development Department, your primary focus will be on crafting a sustainable strategy blueprint for ecommerce subchannels and top customers. Your goal is to optimize Ferrero’s product presence by meeting consumer and shopper needs across various online platforms. This involves assisting key markets in implementing these strategies locally and overseeing the integration of digital initiatives throughout the supply chain.
You will advance the blueprint across different subchannels and customer segments, including Pure Players, Quick Commerce, Omni-channel platforms, and Social Commerce platforms. Collaborating closely with ecommerce stakeholders and Area teams, you will refine strategy and tactics to unlock the full potential of each sub-channel.
Partnering with Global E-Category and E-Merchandiser teams, you will identify relevant portfolio per sub-channel for prioritization. Working alongside local markets, ECommerce Category managers, and E-Commerce analytics, you will establish winning strategies emphasizing shopper experiences, merchandising, inventory planning, profitability, and performance.
Your role extends to steering the deployment of initiatives in lead markets, ensuring scalability, and fostering strategic partnerships and joint business plans with priority international E-Retailers. You will also capture and develop Social Commerce opportunities, leveraging platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WeChat.
Innovation is key, as you will drive the development of digital solutions for products, services, processes, and communication channels. Establishing an internal and external digital commercial innovation ecosystem is vital, along with collaborating with Media and global marketing to develop engaging Global Brand Activities.
