POSITION SUMMARY
The Head of Education, Member Monitoring and Development provides strategic leadership for IFAC’s global membership network. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive membership strategies that strengthen relationships, expand member value, and enhance IFAC’s influence and impact worldwide. This role oversees membership operations, including adoption and implementation, stakeholder engagement, and education and development initiatives, ensuring alignment with IFAC’s strategic goals and Member Value Proposition. The role is crucial for driving membership retention and stakeholder development, while fostering strong partnerships and delivering exceptional member experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration or an equivalent; Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field required; Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in membership development, stakeholder engagement, association management, or related fields, preferably within a nonprofit or global professional membership organization.
- Proven success in developing and executing membership growth strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, and revenue generation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of membership systems, CRM databases, and digital engagement tools; experience with iMIS or similar platforms preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives, board members, and international stakeholders.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse cultural and geographic contexts.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Additionally, if an applicant is US-based, provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also be able to enroll in our company’s 401 (k) plan, as well as a deferred compensation plan, provided they meet plan requirements.
IFAC welcomes applicants from all geographical locations, and this role can be remote if outside of the NY-Metropolitan area. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At IFAC, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for candidates in the NY-Metropolitan region is $200,000 to $250,000.
