Ensure high reliability, scalability, and low-power performance for all hardware designs. Firmware Engineering: Architect and implement robust firmware for IoT devices using C/C++, FreeRTOS, and microcontroller SDKs. Optimize for performance, security, and power efficiency. IoT Connectivity & Protocols: Integrate multiple communication protocols including MQTT, LoRa, Bluetooth, and cellular (4G/LTE) for seamless IoT data transmission and remote device management. Product Development & E-Metering: Lead development efforts for smart E-metering solutions, focusing on accurate data capture, remote monitoring, and energy efficiency. Implement secure communication between devices and the cloud. Cloud & Integration: Collaborate with software and cloud teams to integrate embedded systems with IoT platforms, ensuring reliable data flow and end-to-end device control. Battery & Power Optimization: Design power-efficient embedded systems with expertise in battery management, charging circuits, and energy harvesting for IoT devices deployed in remote environments. Testing & Validation: Establish test frameworks for hardware validation, firmware QA, and field trials. Ensure all products meet compliance, EMI/EMC, and safety standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and manufacturing teams to align product requirements, scalability goals, and delivery timelines. R&D & Innovation: Drive research into emerging IoT technologies, including edge computing, low-power networking, and AI-driven embedded intelligence. Required Skills and Experience Experience: Minimum 8+ years in embedded systems or IoT development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, EC200U) Hands-on experience with LoRa, Bluetooth, MQTT, and 4G/LTE communication protocols Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and embedded firmware development Experience with E-Metering systems, sensors, and low-power hardware design Familiarity with IoT cloud integration (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, etc.) Tools & Platforms: Hands-on with hardware design tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle), debugging tools (JTAG, Logic Analyzers), and communication testing equipment. Leadership: Proven ability to mentor engineering teams, manage R&D roadmaps, and deliver products in fast-paced environments. Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
