Description

We are Wiser, an award-winning Employer Branding & Early Talent agency. We build employer brands to guide the best in the biz into their dream career with our clients.
We’re a home for people who think big and expect more; where creative and recruitment meet to change the way people think about work, not to mention having the only rainforest in Farringdon.
Our creatives use design, product, film, strategy and marketing to capture what makes companies great and showcase it in the market. Our recruitment teams introduce the right people at the beginning of their career to set these companies apart.
We believe that people will do their best work when they’re in a space that enables it. And that’s what we’ve shaped at Wiser — a culture where everyone can be real and back themselves, surrounded by high performers who take ownership of their career and make moves, no matter what their background.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience in employer branding, brand strategy, or a closely related agency-side experience is a must.

  • A strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture while diving into the details when needed.
  • An excellent communicator, with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and bring clarity to complexity.

  • Commercially savvy, with experience owning budgets, developing services, and leading pitches.
  • A creative mindset. We want someone who pushes boundaries, embraces big ideas, and can translate strategy into standout work.
  • A natural collaborator, able to work cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and recruitment teams to deliver integrated, high-impact work.
  • A love for data and insight, using it to drive smarter decisions and demonstrate real-world impact.
  • A passion for purpose-led work that connects people with meaning, not just messages.
Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Head of Employer Branding to lead one of the most exciting and fast-growing areas of our business. You’ll be employed by Wiser, but your time will be split between our HQ in Farringdon but mainly embedded on-site with some of our biggest clients: bringing bold ideas to life, influencing employer brand strategy at the highest level, and turning insight into impact.
As Head of Employer Branding, you’ll shape the way businesses are perceived in the talent market. From defining EVP to activating it across every touchpoint, you’ll blend strategy, storytelling, and creativity to help brands attract and retain the best, all with the help of our award-winning (3 RADs this year, but who’s counting?) teams.

This is a unique opportunity to scale an already world-class offering. You’ll lead client relationships, push creative boundaries, and build a team to match your ambition.

  • Own the strategic development of employer brands for some of the world’s most exciting businesses—from insight and EVP to activation across channels and audiences.
  • Be the go-to expert for our clients, embedding yourself into their teams and becoming a trusted strategic advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Define and deliver employer brand strategies that don’t just sit on a shelf—ones that actually shift perception, drive awareness, and inspire action.
  • Build and scale Wiser’s employer brand offering, developing new services, refining processes, and ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of strategists, creatives, and account leads, setting the standard for excellence and building capability across the function.
  • Collaborate with our in-house creative and marketing teams to bring brand stories to life through content, campaigns, careers sites, social strategies and more.
  • Use research, data and insight to inform strategy and measure impact, whether it’s improving the candidate experience, shifting brand perception, or increasing engagement.
  • Manage P&L and commercial performance, defining pricing models, hitting revenue targets, and leading new business opportunities.
  • Act as a thought leader in the market, speaking at events, leading workshops, and setting the pace in employer branding conversations.
