We are looking for a Head of Engineering who cares deeply about building exceptional products that users love. This role goes beyond managing teams and systems: you will champion engineering practices that result in fast, intuitive, reliable, and delightful user experiences. You will lead multiple engineering teams, ensuring that our technology choices, architecture, execution, and processes all serve one overarching purpose: delivering our roadmap predictably, raising the bar on engineering quality, and building systems that scale with the business. What you’ll do: Champion the predictable, high-quality delivery of the product and engineering roadmap. Partner closely with Product to ensure alignment, clarity, and a shared obsession for delivering great user experiences Raise the bar on engineering quality by driving strong coding standards, testing rigor, architectural clarity, and operational excellence. Ensure our systems, services, and architecture can scale with the company’s growth. Lead and participate in incident response, ensuring issues are quickly identified, mitigated, and resolved, while contributing to post-incident analysis and improvements Manage and develop the engineering team, ensuring they are performing well, aligned, and supported Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights, metrics, retrospectives, and a strong culture of accountability Foster a culture of ownership, excellence, and collaboration across teams and functions. Must have skills & experience 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 3+ years leading managers or multi-team engineering orgs. Demonstrated success delivering complex product roadmaps in fast-paced environments. Strong technical foundation in modern software engineering—architecture, distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, performance, and reliability. Experience building scalable, maintainable systems for real-world, high-traffic user scenarios. Deep familiarity with engineering quality practices: automated testing, CI/CD, observability, incident management, code quality standards. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with Product, Design, and Operations. A track record of elevating engineering teams, improving processes, and building high-performing cultures.
