JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
GE HealthCare is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Head of Engineering to lead our Danish Engineering organization within the Surgical Visualization and Guidance (SVG) business, formerly known as BK Medical. Based in Denmark, Herlev, this role will oversee a team of approximately 100 highly skilled professionals.
As Head of Engineering, you will hold the overall responsibility for the strategic direction of the engineering function. You will be responsible for driving innovation, execution, and operational excellence across a multidisciplinary team that includes Systems, Software, Safety/Risk, and Program Management. You will serve as the single point of accountability for engineering product delivery and act as the primary interface between engineering and other key functions such as Supply Chain, Sourcing, Regulatory, and Supplier Quality.
This position requires strategic leadership and operational acumen to manage complex programs and deliver world-class intraoperative ultrasound (ULS) solutions. You will own and influence budgets and operating plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. The role offers autonomy within the operational area and demands high levels of evaluative judgment to achieve impactful outcomes.
