ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a hands-on, technical Head of Engineering to lead and grow our engineering organization at Hyperlayer. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team, , with a strong focus on server-side systems.
• Stay hands-on with design, architecture, and engineering, setting a high technical bar and leading by example.
• Build and optimize high-throughput, low-latency applications that power critical financial services.
• Ensure systems are designed for availability, resilience, scalability, and security, in line with enterprise engineering standards.
• Drive technical decision-making, architecture, and roadmap in close collaboration with Product, Design and other departments, ensuring alignment across the business
• Communicate complex technical topics clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, bridging business and engineering.
• Partner with leadership and other departments to deliver solutions that balance technical excellence, customer needs, and regulatory requirements
• Navigate the challenges of building in a regulated industry, ensuring compliance without compromising innovation.
