What you'll do:Lead the engineering function end-to-end, covering delivery, operational performance, hiring, team development and engineering strategy.

Manage and develop an established leadership team, creating a culture of accountability, ownership and high performance.

Drive the adoption of AI-native development practices, embedding modern AI tooling throughout the software development lifecycle and measuring its impact on engineering effectiveness.

Partner closely with Product and Commercial leadership to help accelerate the company's transition from a sales-led to a more product-led organisation.

Establish meaningful engineering metrics and reporting frameworks, improving predictability, quality and delivery performance.

Build capability across the organisation, identifying strengths, addressing gaps and ensuring teams are set up for long-term success.

Own operational health across engineering, including delivery performance, support effectiveness, reliability and cloud operations.

Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, providing clear leadership and evidence-based decision making.
