Description
OBDeleven is all about making car tech easy and accessible for everyone. For over 10 years, we’ve been crafting simple yet powerful diagnostic and customization tools for car enthusiasts worldwide. We need your help to keep moving forward. To do that, we’re looking for a Head of Engineering to elevate our teams, strengthen execution, and help shape the future of connected car intelligence. As Head of Engineering, you’ll lead multiple cross-functional teams across mobile, backend, and data/AI. You will: Oversee engineering delivery: ensure teams ship reliably, maintain high quality, and meet roadmap commitments across all domains. Lead people and teams: recruit top talent, coach managers and engineers, support team health, and manage performance and resource allocation. Improve engineering workflows: identify bottlenecks, drive automation, refine pipelines, and continuously raise the bar on speed and efficiency. Partner closely with Product: understand priorities, plan execution, resolve dependencies, and translate product vision into clear engineering outcomes. Own engineering culture: promote accountability, continuous improvement, strong technical standards, and a collaborative mindset across the organisation. We expect: Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams or departments in a product-driven environment. Strong technical foundation in backend, mobile, or data engineering, with the ability to challenge architectural decisions and guide teams toward scalable solutions. Demonstrated success running day-to-day engineering operations — delivery, performance management, hiring, processes, and organisational scaling. A track record of driving measurable improvements in quality, velocity, reliability, or cost. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling strong alignment with engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders. A practical, delivery-focused mindset, strong leadership, and a passion for building high-performing teams. Here’s what we offer: Fair pay for bold work: We reward your expertise with competitive pay that grows as you do. Plus, you get a yearly, company goal-based bonus Hybrid Work Flexibility: Work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home or wherever suits you best. If you're based in Vilnius, 1–2 of your 3 weekly office days will be spent at our Kaunas office. The remaining 1–2 days should be worked from the Vilnius office—depending on how many days you spend in Kaunas. You can also work remotely from abroad for up to 183 days a year Focus on your well-being: Choose your comprehensive health plan, get paid days off to care for yourself and your family, enjoy a paid day off during your birthday month, and benefit from flexible working hours. Real learning opportunities: Grow your skills with a 2% gross salary learning budget. Take your monthly paid self-learning day and improve stress-free Culture that connects: Enjoy Friday lunches on us, team buildings, company parties, and all the usual office perks like snacks, a cozy lounge, Xbox, and more Environment for real impact: Got an idea that'll make OBDeleven better? Share it, get feedback, fine-tune, and take action. We trust expertise and value ownership. Salary range: Gross salary from 6000 EUR/Month.
