Responsibilities
  • Lead and support agile teams: Guide and enable software engineering teams by creating the right conditions for collaboration, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
  • Bring a software development foundation: Apply your background in software engineering to help teams navigate technical challenges and support good development practices.
  • Improve systems and workflows: Help administer and integrate tools that support engineering workflows and team visibility. Familiarity with platforms such as Jira, LinearB, and Jellyfish is helpful but not essential.
  • Encourage healthy, sustainable delivery: Use practical approaches to support engineering effectiveness. You’ll help teams understand how to measure and improve the way they work—without adding unnecessary process or pressure.
  • Support agile ways of working: Draw on your experience with agile methodologies—particularly Scrum and Kanban—to help teams apply these approaches in a way that works for them.
  • Nurture team growth and performance: Create a safe environment for individuals and teams to grow, take ownership, and succeed. You’ll support clarity around goals, feedback, and progression.
  • Balance delivery with impact: Take a pragmatic view of development activity, helping teams balance effort with value and work through trade-offs with confidence.
  • Build relationships across the business: Communicate clearly and constructively with engineers, peers, and stakeholders. You’ll foster trust, invite input, and create alignment.
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment: You’re comfortable working in an Agile SaaS setting where iterative delivery and regular updates are part of the rhythm.
