SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience leading distributed engineering teams in a high-growth, outcome focussed environment.
  • Strong technical background with experience in scalable architecture, DevOps/Platform Engineering practices, and software development methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile development processes and modern Lean delivery practices.
  • Familiarity with operating in a remote-first organisation and managing across time zones.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Engineering to lead and inspire our engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction, culture, and operational excellence of a growing technology organisation. You will work closely with the CTO and other key stakeholders to drive innovation, deliver high-quality products, and position the team for scalable growth.
With demonstrated success in this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to be considered for the future Group CTO position. Structured coaching and development will be provided to support this journey.
