  • Key Responsibilities Opportunity Takeover and Conversion PlanningOwn each qualified opportunity from handover through to signature.
  • Receive qualified opportunities from Sales Development with full context and engagement history.
  • Assess each company’s objectives, decision-making process, timeline, and potential conversion barriers.
  • Develop a clear conversion plan, including next steps, responsibilities, and timelines for every active opportunity.
  • Maintain momentum across multiple complex and long-term deal cycles.


  • Deal Structuring and Business Case DevelopmentDevelop company business cases covering setup scope, employment creation, investment requirements, and future growth plans.
  • Structure tailored support packages across incentives, services, and relevant ecosystem resources.
  • Translate company requirements into clear commercial terms, commitments, and deliverables.
  • Pressure-test assumptions with companies and ensure expectations are aligned on both sides.
  • Evaluate deal economics, strategic value, risks, and expected ecosystem impact.


  • Ecosystem Navigation and Regional EnablementCoordinate with the One-Stop Shop on company setup pathways, licensing, and operational requirements.
  • Introduce companies to relevant Abu Dhabi government entities, ecosystem partners, and service providers.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement throughout the evaluation and decision-making process.
  • Organize company visits, working sessions, presentations, and follow-up discussions.
  • Ensure companies have the information and support required to evaluate and commit to establishing operations in Abu Dhabi.


  • Incentive Committee Preparation and ApprovalPrepare comprehensive Incentive Committee materials covering the strategic rationale, economics, risks, proposed support, and company commitments.
  • Coordinate internal reviews and address open commercial, operational, legal, and financial matters ahead of committee discussions.
  • Present clear, decision-ready recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage conditions, clarifications, and follow-up actions arising from the approval process.
  • Drive opportunities through final approval and coordinate agreement execution with the One-Stop Shop.


  • Pipeline Performance and HandoverMaintain accurate CRM records, opportunity stages, action plans, and expected conversion dates.
  • Track conversion rates, cycle times, pipeline movement, and reasons for unsuccessful opportunities.
  • Provide regular and transparent reporting on deal progress, risks, dependencies, and required interventions.
  • Ensure signed companies are handed over to the Company Success team with complete context, documentation, and agreed commitments.
  • Maintain strong conversion discipline across the active opportunity portfolio.


  • Conversion Excellence and Continuous ImprovementDevelop conversion playbooks, templates, business-case frameworks, and reusable deal materials.
  • Identify bottlenecks across qualification, deal structuring, stakeholder coordination, and internal approvals.
  • Recommend improvements that strengthen conversion rates and reduce deal cycle times.
  • Work with the business development transformation team to embed improved processes, systems, and tools into deal execution.
  • Establish consistent standards for opportunity management, documentation, governance, and follow-up.


  • RequirementsExpected level: Vice President, Principal or Section Head equivalent
  • With at least 8 years of relevant leadership experience
