For our client, an internationally leading operator of a regulated marketplace in the energy and raw materials industry based in Leipzig, we are seeking a Head of Enterprise Risk Management (m/f/d) for direct placement.

Your areas of responsibility:

• Professional and disciplinary leadership and further development of a highly qualified team in Enterprise Risk Management
• Strategic development of company-wide risk management including risk strategy, risk inventory and risk-bearing capacity
• Responsibility for regulatory requirements, capital planning, and the further development of methods, processes, and guidelines.
• Preparation of meaningful risk analyses and reports for management, committees and supervisory authorities.
• Management of strategic ERM initiatives as well as support for regulatory reviews, annual financial statements and audits.
• Close collaboration with specialist departments, auditors and national as well as international stakeholders
• Promoting an open, appreciative leadership culture and continuous development of your team

This is how you will convince others:

• Successfully completed studies, for example in economics, mathematics, physics, computer science or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in enterprise risk management, risk controlling or a comparable environment in the banking sector, a CCP, auditing or consulting firm
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and comprehensive expertise in risk management
• Experience in leading and developing employees, combined with a modern, appreciative leadership style.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills as well as entrepreneurial action
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a confident demeanor towards internal and external stakeholders.
