Responsibilities

THE PURPOSE:

As the Head of Enterprise Risk Management you’ll play a pivotal role in developing our global Risk Framework, ensuring that PPRO operates within industry best practices and especially the guidelines and regulations (UK FCA and Lux CSSF) while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with our business operations.

YOUR IMPACT IN THIS ROLE:

  • Implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management strategy tailored to the specific needs of PPRO’s commercial and operating model, while keeping in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Be a trusted advisor to leaders across the three lines of defence.
  • Stay current with regulatory guidelines and applicable regulatory standards, ensuring that the institution’s risk management practices are consistently compliant.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritise risks associated with all aspects of PPRO’s global operations, including financial, operational, legal, and strategic risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans, policies, and procedures to minimise exposure to identified risks. Oversee the management of risk by collaborating with other departments and providing guidance and recommendations.
  • Maintain an effective Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework that aligns with PPRO’s strategic objectives, ensuring it evolves with changing business conditions and regulations.
  • Track and report on key risk indicators. Regularly update executive management and the Board on risk status and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to staff to promote a risk-aware culture within the institution.
