ABOUT THE ESTATES AND FACILITIES TEAM:

The Estates and Facilities team at Creative Education Trust is dedicated to ensuring that our schools provide safe, efficient, and inspiring environments for students and staff. Our team is responsible for the investment in capital programmes, planned and preventative maintenance, contracted services such as cleaning and catering and the overall functionality and presentation of our buildings and grounds. We work closely with other functions, school leaders and site staff to manage compliance, health and safety and effective delivery of all asset investment, condition and capital projects. We always aspire to maintain pleasant and well-designed spaces conducive to learning and teaching.
Our Director of Estates & Facilities leads the team across the Trust which includes Regional Managers and Facilities staff in schools. The Estates function has a particular focus on sustainability and innovation, ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards. From routine maintenance to large-scale renovations, we are committed to creating and maintaining spaces that support the educational mission of Creative Education Trust.

REQUIREMENTS:

To apply for the Head of Estates and Facilities opportunity, you must hold:
· Health and safety qualification e.g. NEBOSH or IOSH
· IWFM qualification or evidence of working towards qualification.
· Engineer or building surveyor related experience.
· Significant experience of overseeing building maintenance and investment
· Prior experience of working with schools or an understanding of the school environment and operational needs and leading teams to deliver services.
· Considerable experience of reporting programme management information to board and executive.
