Our client is seeking a Head of Engineering to take charge of its estate-wide infrastructure and lead a talented multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Head of Engineering will be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the estate runs seamlessly behind the scenes. From heritage buildings and vehicles to security and safety systems, this role is about maintaining excellence, driving improvements, and planning for the future.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will provide both strategic direction and hands-on leadership, building a strong team culture while delivering a reliable, world-class environment for guests and staff alike.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Engineering department, overseeing both internal staff and external contractors
  • Manage maintenance across the estate including buildings, vehicles, IT networks and security systems
  • Implement proactive and reactive maintenance schedules to the highest standards
  • Take ownership of budgets, including capital investment projects
  • Monitor and maintain infrastructure
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across systems and processes
  • Ensure a strong health & safety culture throughout the team
  • Maintain a consistent on-site presence, leading by example
