- You own a Master Degree in finance, economics and/or accounting
- You bring along a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Product Supply Controlling
- You have in-depth understanding of the complexities of financial and business transactions of a legal entity as well as knowledge of the accounting, controlling and finance-relevant processes
- Sound analytical skills, structured approach and entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as very good knowledge in economics are among your capabilities
- You have exceptional leadership as well as communication skills along with the professional and social competence to manage and develop employees
- A broad knowledge of market fields, developments, brands and strategic interactions are what you bring along
- You are innovative, digital, strategic and have an agile mindset with a high level of change agility
- You bring the capability to work in a complex challenging environment
- You own a high Level of German and English language skills
This role will be responsible for both sites - Grenzach as well as Darmstadt.
Responsibilities:
- You drive the site costs for Grenzach and Darmstadt down to work towards the vision of “0 loss”
- You build systems, create cost awareness and proactively communicate and engage with the organization to drive “0 loss” mindset
- You provide advice, transparency and decision support to both Site Leadership Team Grenzach and Darmstadt via effective financial steering & planning of resources in line with global targets and KPI’s
- You ensure that local and Group financial statements are prepared in line with both International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and existing local commercial and fiscal law to obtain clean audit opinions
- You provide leadership to the finance and controlling team in Grenzach and Darmstadt
- The operational controlling tasks are in your responsibility: Preparation and coordination of forecast and budget planning, cost- and FTE planning, performance of regular deviation analysis
- Regular reporting & monitoring of business performance and budget execution are within your responsibility
- You evaluate new product launch projects and business cases and translate functional strategy into operational planning as well as you design and develop controlling concepts based on best practice
- You lead the loss analysis process and facilitate the cost saving projects/programs
